Japan Rose was founded in 2002 by Anders Nordentoft Pedersen. The current owner and CEO. 

To begin with, Japan Rose was a nursery in De Kwakel, The Netherlands. Here, we had plants delivered from Jorgen P. Plotteplanteri nursery in Denmark. 

Our job was then to countinue to care for the plants and sell them to supermarkets or other clients. Here our focus was on the growing of the plants rather than the selling of plants.

However, over the years, we found a growing interest in product development. This meant that we wanted to change our focus from producing plants to selling plants. 

In 2013, we were able to sell the nursery and move into a hall in Aalsmeer. Located 10 minutes from the Bloemenvelling in Aalsmeer. 

From then on, we have been able to focus solely on product development within plants. 

By 2020, we were experiencing that the amount of orders that we were getting did not match the size of our hall. Therefore, during the summer of 2020, we moved to a bigger hall down the road. 

Today we are constantly developing new ideas for pots and plants. 

We buy our plants from countries in Europe, mainly from the Netherlands and Denmark. Develop them and sell them to buyers.
